Tiffany Allecia M.Ed.

Founder and Executive Director

Tiffany Allecia M.Ed. is a dynamic community organizer, activist, and advocate for systemic change. As the Executive Director of the Springfield Creative City Collective, she is spearheading the transformation of Springfield, MA’s creative economy with a focus on healing, empowerment, investment, and sustainability for marginalized communities. Raised in Springfield after moving from Hartford at the age of seven, Tiffany credits the mentorship and opportunities offered by Springfield’s community leaders for inspiring her to pursue a life of service. This foundation of support shaped her passion for social justice and grassroots activism, which she has carried through her academic journey as a double Howard University graduate and beyond.

Her life’s work is dedicated to addressing systemic racism, economic inequity, and the social and emotional healing needed to rebuild communities impacted by decades of disinvestment. Tiffany’s career has focused on alleviating the struggles of Black and Brown residents in Springfield, through a variety of initiatives that combat poverty, food insecurity, health inequities, police brutality, housing discrimination, and the educational opportunity gap. She believes in the critical role of trauma-informed activism and social-emotional healing as a path toward collective well-being and societal progress.

Her personal philosophy is deeply rooted in humility, knowledge-seeking, and collaboration. She often cites Socrates’ quote, “I know that I know nothing,” as a guiding principle, emphasizing the importance of continual learning, and the necessity of staying open to new ideas. This mindset has allowed her to remain grounded while tackling the immense challenges facing her community. Tiffany believes that the path to long-term systemic change requires intersectional solutions that integrate financial literacy, cultural expression, and restorative justice. Her work bridges the gap between policy advocacy, creative entrepreneurship, and social change.

A mother to three boys—Adrian, Andre, and Adonis—Tiffany also manages Bipolar II disorder, Agoraphobia, General Anxiety Disorder, and Depression while working toward social and economic justice. Through her leadership, the Springfield Creative City Collective envisions Springfield as an arts and culture capital of the world, where everyone has equitable access to prosperity, safety, and community.
